A situation puzzle revolves around a story whose details are hazy or only partially specified. To solve the puzzle, you must ask yes/no questions until the full story becomes clear. Technically there can be multiple answers but the only correct one is the one that the host specifically has in mind.

Read the following puzzle and ask questions (in Chinese) until you arrive at the solution.

There are two videos in this music video subtitle comprehension quiz. I made the second one into a bonus because the questions are harder (I believe) and the song is in Korean.

General rule: You can use a dictionary but try not to search for the lyrics online and work off of those instead.

Note: The two video links below are not the same. The first one is the actual music video and the second one is from a concert. The Chinese subtitles are also different but they are close in meaning. The reason I included both is because the subtitles in the music video can be fuzzy to read at times.

For clarification to my questions: I am using "she / her" to refer to the person described as " 我" and "he / him" to refer to the person described as "你" in the song. You can answer in either Chinese or English. However, if you answer in Chinese, please try not to copy the lyrics directly; paraphrase to show that you understand the answer.

Identify the 7 wonton dishes in the attached picture.

Because wonton dishes are pretty much available everywhere with various names describing them, below are some points to keep in mind to get the answers that I am looking for:

1. The wonton dishes I've included are typical of what you might find in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Chengdu. Three are from Shanghai, three are from Hong Kong and one is from Chengdu.

2. The names of the dishes are how they might be called in those regions.

3. I've kept everything in simplified characters so that should not be a factor distinguishing the names.

This is another 7句话 word puzzle, but it's a bit different from what we've seen before. This time the items in the character pool can be put together to form other characters. For example if you see 人 and 旁, you can combine them to form 傍 (recall that 亻 is the radical form of 人). See Kangxi radicals for more examples.

Whether you liked 《让子弹飞》 or not, I think most would agree it has some fun scenes. I liked this one here. Jiang Wen (县长) and Chow Yun-Fat (黄老爷) are having a bit of a spat. If you haven't seen the movie, just know that they don't like each other. Ge You (汤师爷) is caught in the middle and some onlookers are chuckling in the background.

Try to answer on listening alone. The clip has some harsh language, so don’t blare it at work. Although if you are not in China, I suppose it likely wouldn't matter.
