Yay! I'm first! :D

After an inspection it's been determined to post a public danger because it's likely to fall over. On Jan. 10, 2011, it will be removed. After that, a new tree will be planted in that spot or somewhere near it.

How nice of them to provide a replacement.

Public Notice

This tree underwent a detailed inspection by the local bureau which determined that it's internal structure conceals a latent danger which makes it easily subject to collapse. To safeguard the public, the local bureau will remove this tree on January 10th, 2011. After removal, a replacement tree will be planted at the location of the original tree or at a suitable nearby location.

If you have any opinions or inquires with regard to the removal of this tree, you are welcome to contact Mr. WeiXiang Li of Hong Kong's West Tree Squadron by phone at 2537 1490.
