One small step for abcdefg, one giant leap for civilisedness.

("Here's a warm tip comin' atcha!")

Hotels sometimes use similar wording with 温警 for notices left in guest rooms. I think it's something like "gentle warning" or "friendly reminder." Nothing harsh or stern.

Oops! Complex character; glad I did not have to draw it by hand.

"friendly reminder" sounds nice, "warm tip" sounds hilarious. Would that mean then that a 'cold tip' is a unfriendly warning?

what do you think of the translation " please aim carefully"? It seems good.

Yes, that would be the usual phrasing. I've also seen signs such as "We aim to please, so please aim carefully".

I liked the English notice above the hand basin at a daba station somewhere in Liaoning - SOUP 肥皂 was writ in large bold letters.  And another toilet notice was DANGER LANDSLIPS! 小心滑地
