Signese

My first thought was some phonetic English was hidden in there. But on second thought I can't seem to find any.

It's actually a US firm. Honest. No idea what's with the logo. Isle of Dogs is a place in London, but there aren't any (more than usual) dogs there and it isn't an island. 

I am almost tempted to write and ask why Isle of Dogs. The UK is known for being a place of dog lovers, maybe this has been confused and melded into this.
