Why do they add all the extra bits? Like the yellow circle, I have seen it before on other shop fronts and logos.

I understand it's not easy to read if you don't speak the language.

I can't read this logo, for example:

No. I mean why Subway adds two arrows to their logo. If you can understand that, you can understand the "yellow circle".

Well, that was an embarrassingly common chengyu I missed. I'm useless with them by and large but that is one I actually know; think the xian/xin play was too much for my tiny brain.
