Applying to Tsinghua Spring 2007

I'm planning on applying to Tsinghua Uni to study Chinese for a year from next Feb. I've emailed them but they aren't very helpful and the website isn't much better. Hope some people who have applied before can answer some questions for me.

- First of all can someone confirm that TH does run 1 year course from Spring with the same course structure as that beginning in the Fall?

- Should I send originals of my degree certificate and transcript, or will photocopies do?

- How long should I expect to wait for a decision on my app.? If I apply now will I still be waiting till well after the deadline for an answer?

- Is there any info on the course more comprehensive than that on the website available?

I am going to be studying at Tsinghua this year, but since I applied through a scholarship type deal I don't know all of the specifics of the normal application process. I would be happy to inquire as to the process for you. Which website did you look at? They have the normal website, but then they have a special website for foreign students. Here is a link to their Chinese language program website. It is has details regarding the application procedures and such. I hope the information can be of some use to you. If not let me know and I will inquire about the procedures once I arrive.
