How to write 魟鱼 (stingray) in simplified characters?

Yesterday, i listened a lecture in BLCU on Chinese characters given by the famous character scholar Professor Su Peicheng (苏培成), who teaches in Peking Unv.

I asked Professor Su the question about Mr. Qian's name. He told me it was not a difficult peoblem. As his saying, we should forget 锺, although it was used in many publications. What we need know is that the official simplified character project, in which 鐘 and 鍾 is simplified to 钟.

P.S.

The official simplified character project is 《简化字总表》 which was established in 1986.
