geraldc Posted September 8, 2006 at 08:01 PM Report Posted September 8, 2006 at 08:01 PM Through work an interesting question has arisen. Do many language students in China study farsi, and how would you go about notifying them of job opportunities? Quote
roddy Posted September 9, 2006 at 12:54 AM Report Posted September 9, 2006 at 12:54 AM Very few, I'd imagine. At a guess the foreign language universities will have a small number of students though - see here for example. I'd rustle up a list of foreign languge universities and get in touch with them - however, you may find their students are already earmarked for careers in diplomacy and international espionage. Beida also seems to have Farsi courses. Quote
mr.stinky Posted September 9, 2006 at 02:34 AM Report Posted September 9, 2006 at 02:34 AM must it necessarily be a language student? there's a huge moslem population here, i'd expect some of them at least would have farsi ability. Quote
