# of classes within a semester

hello to everyone, i'm new here. we were wondering, when one studies for 5 months or 1 semster of Mandarin in China, how many classes are there? or is it just 1 class everyday but for several hours?

we are not familiar with the classes being held there.

can you choose the schedules? Thanks to all. we're interested in studying Mandarin in China too. Thanks!
