Marco Posted March 3, 2004 at 10:40 AM Report Posted March 3, 2004 at 10:40 AM HI I hope any one can help me with this one, I want to enter a Chinese language bachelors degree program, but I just found out that you have to be below 25 years of age, troubelsome for me as I am 29, does any one know a university that let you enter no matter what age. Next to that, I was wondering if you also need a HSK 6 level to enter this Course. Thanks Marco Quote
adambsmurf Posted March 3, 2004 at 12:01 PM Report Posted March 3, 2004 at 12:01 PM I have no idea, but my feeling is that if you pay money they'll take you in. Quote
doumeizhen Posted March 9, 2004 at 07:10 AM Report Posted March 9, 2004 at 07:10 AM Hmmm, you generally need hsk level 6 to enter undergraduate in fields other than chinese, 7 or 8 to enter a graduate program. But for a language degree (bachelors) you should be able to show up with no Chinese and get it. Although, knowing some helps in the application process. I have heard the 25 year old rule, but I have been it go up to 30 (Beijing Univesity) for undergraduate work, graduate work they accept higher I think in all cases if you have a decent application, the ability to pay, you can get in. I am currently a language student at the Beijing Film Academy, and I have met a couple of students who are well into their 30's, maybe one or two in their 40's. Don't think that it's a concern. Good luck![/b] Quote
