yeah it is very hard to see. Im sorry im not at a computer that can type chinese right now but i think the first character is Wen2 in Zhong1Wen2... and I have no idea about the second or the fourth, but i think the 3rd might be Ji1 in Fei1Ji1

but im not sure at all....

i don't think that the 3rd character is 机 if that was the feiji 飞机 that you meant, but maybe there is another fei1ji1?

first one I agree, it should be a "文", and the last one to me seems a "表"...

but sometimes maybe both the person who has that tatoo, and the person who draws(should it be called draw?)that tatoo don't know what the character it is...(sh)

Definitely wen...什么什么什么. never a good idea to get chinese characters tattooed to yourself if you dont know the meaning. a disgruntled Chinese tattooist in England tattooed a guy with 我是丑男人。All the Chinese girls started falling about laughing in his local club so he asked them what it meant. He went back to find the tattoist but he'd already packed up and gone. :mrgreen:

Actually, i think they aren't modern Chinese characters, but 篆字 seal characters, which were used in about 2000 years ago.
