Where to get handwriting pad and speech recognition hardware and software?

I have been using pinyin to type for a while but it takes me a long time to type sentences, so I was wondering where I can buy a handwriting pad hardware with handwriting recognition software and speech recognition software? I saw a Chinese professor do it a long time ago, but I haven't seen him since.

A handwriting pad is called “手写板”. You can always find them in 电脑城. Sorry, I don’t know which city you are in, so I can’t direct you to a concrete place. You can also ask the local people about it.
