Where to get handwriting pad and speech recognition hardware and software?

I have been using pinyin to type for a while but it takes me a long time to type sentences, so I was wondering where I can buy a handwriting pad hardware with handwriting recognition software and speech recognition software? I saw a Chinese professor do it a long time ago, but I haven't seen him since.

A handwriting pad is called “手写板”. You can always find them in 电脑城. Sorry, I don’t know which city you are in, so I can’t direct you to a concrete place. You can also ask the local people about it. I've tried 漢王 and PenPower (蒙恬) before, and both can recognize hand writting fairly good, but i've finally abondoned using these tools. Typing in Changjie is much faster.

We have a Chinatown so hopefully I can find something that works well
