How I receive BBC, CNN, HBO and etc living in China?

The only guaranteed way to get English language TV in China would be buy a satellite dish and watch Star TV, but even that doesn't have the channels you're looking for.

If you are trying to keep up with particular shows, I know quite a few people who use file sharing programs to download the latest episodes etc, but then you do need a fast internet connection etc.

instead of HBO, there are lots of pirated DVDs in the market...even "friends" season 10 and sex and the sity season 5

I don't know whether the price is acceptable.
