Willy Tang Posted October 6, 2006 at 04:11 PM Report Posted October 6, 2006 at 04:11 PM Hi, I am hoping to go to China for a year or two years to teach English. I have TEFL, and I have conversational Mandarin. I can read enough Chinese to understand most of a newspaper, and can write simple articles etc (sometimes with the help of a dictionary!!) I want to go to the Zhengzhou area, Henan province. This is because i want to use my spare time to study martial arts in the Shaolin Temple. Does anyone have advice on how i can go about getting a job? Many thanks!!! Quote
Madot Posted October 7, 2006 at 01:24 PM Report Posted October 7, 2006 at 01:24 PM I am currently sharing an apartment in Beijing with a woman from Zhengzhou who is a university teacher of English there. She is presently on leave, preparing to begin her Ph.D., but she will be returning to teach there next year. I could ask her if you like. Email me privately at: cincotta@uow.edu.au Mado Quote
