yonitabonita Posted October 11, 2006 at 02:28 PM Report Share Posted October 11, 2006 at 02:28 PM Hi folks, I'm the first to admit I'm a technological moron, could you help me anyway? I'm wanting to know how to use the flag function. The way I understand it is that the flag function lets you create a subset within a flashcard list which can be reviewed seperate to the entire list. My question is how to go about reviewing flagged vocab? The flags are set, but where from there? The instruction manual seems to tell me how to set them, but not how to use them. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance, Y
roddy Posted October 11, 2006 at 03:53 PM Report Share Posted October 11, 2006 at 03:53 PM I don't use the flags myself, but it should be New Flashcard Session > Card Settings > Require Flags and then select the ones you want from the drop-down. Best guess, hope it works.
yonitabonita Posted October 11, 2006 at 04:52 PM Author Report Share Posted October 11, 2006 at 04:52 PM Thanks Roddy. But what I meant was that I've gotten as far as setting my flags and then hit a dead end. How do I review the flagged vocabulary? Despite not completely understanding this new and complex machine (PDA with Pleco), I looooove it. Thanks for the recommendation. Really, it's the best purchase I've made in about a decade. mikelove Posted October 11, 2006 at 09:07 PM Report Share Posted October 11, 2006 at 09:07 PM Once you've got those flags set as required in Card Settings, go back out to the main New Session screen, select all of your lists (with the All button), and start a session - the cards in that session should all have the flags you selected.
