yonitabonita Posted October 23, 2006 at 04:02 AM Report Posted October 23, 2006 at 04:02 AM Hi folks, Anyone know what the condition of the road to Xiang Shan is like? My bike is pretty crappy. It can't handle anything off road, but it's good weather on Friday and I thought a ride out there in the autumn air would be nice. Any advice? thanks, Y Quote
zhwj Posted October 23, 2006 at 05:28 AM Report Posted October 23, 2006 at 05:28 AM It's generally not bad - it's all paved road, but there are a few spots where it gets sort of narrow and you might be forced onto a dirt shoulder by passing cars and buses. People ride along it with no problem, though. If you're interested in other Autumn biking routes, this article lists four trips into the suburbs. They're relatively long, though - shortest is 120km or so - but this time of year they should be pretty nice rides. Quote
