TrojanWinter Posted October 23, 2006 at 01:48 PM Report Posted October 23, 2006 at 01:48 PM Hey there, I'm a student here at Beida this year, but am also working for my home university doing research on Chinese society, namely the realm of public diplomacy. I just completed an article, along with a friend at the China International Culture Exchange Center, on the country's internet "Egao" movement. I'm hoping to hear some feedback on it, so if you are at all interested, please check it out and let me know what you think. http://uscpublicdiplomacy.com/index.php/newsroom/pdblog_detail/061010_the_steamed_bun_revolution/ Any tips or even ideas on further topics you find interesting would be much help. Thanks so much! Quote
fulgentius Posted October 23, 2006 at 05:10 PM Report Posted October 23, 2006 at 05:10 PM Too many cliches and too little information. And gushingly one-sided. "So score one for the people." "Such is the gift of ancient Chinese wisdom." Sorry, I can't take this seriously. Quote
TrojanWinter Posted October 23, 2006 at 11:28 PM Author Report Posted October 23, 2006 at 11:28 PM Noted. I admit some of the language is absolutely ridiculous at times, I knew that while we wrote it and I'll make sure to clean it up. But rather than just criticism, give me something constructive. What's your feeling about the other side? Do you have some good info to expand upon? Some good examples? Whats your opinion on the matter as a whole? Just looking for some intellectual thought to add to the discussion Quote
