Hero Doug Posted November 7, 2006 at 03:39 AM Report Posted November 7, 2006 at 03:39 AM This seem's like an approiate place for it so here it is. I came across this url while searching on the net. It seem's to be a language exchange using Skype. One person speaks one language, and the other person speaks another language. From what I can tell if you're an English speaker and want to practise speaking Chinese you'd find a Chinese speaker who want's to practise speaking English. You'd speak Chinese, they'd speak English, and you'd help each other out with mistakes and whatnot. It seem's interesting and simple. I haven't tried it yet, maybe next year when I'm able to (ability wise). To any who have tried something like this, how has it worked for you? Also, the Skype Forums have a similar service. Are their any other people that have other good resources? A quick Google Search brought up a few good resources. http://www.language-exchanges.org/ http://www.eslbase.com/language-exchange/ (Appears to be free) http://www.polyglot-learn-language.com/ (Not too sure about how this one works) http://www.mylanguageexchange.com http://www.lingozone.com/ http://www.xlingo.com/ Quote
