Interesting points from the video:

(1) While some shop signs in HK start to use simplified script to cater to Mainland tourists, many shop signs in Shanghai use both traditional and simplified scripts;

(2) Even Chinese officials got mixed up with both scripts;

(3) A kindergarten in Shanghai teaches traditional script to the toddlers;

(4) Foreign students feel it is easy to read in traditional but write in simplified;

(5) Mainland immigrant students in HK feel they are more "Chinese" after learning the tradtional characters.

Interesting. I support one script, re-evaluation of simplified characters, and systematic simplifcation. but none is likely to happen.
