There's a long, complicated and funny explanation of the process involved in legally running a website from within China here. Definitely worth a read, if just for comedy value. The rest of the site is pretty interesting too, Chinese guy blogging from Shanghai in English. He's actually a member on here, but I don't think he's visited for a while . . .

hehe, yeah! the regulations look like catch 22, funny enough :lol:

that's just official saying, i think there're even more regulations on fighting of DVDs pirating.
