Ok, this is a good one. How would this be translated into Chinese?

I have some English Students who I can't explain this well enough without a definition.

Rip in the Space/Time continuum

Thanks in advance.

时空裂缝, I think. I suspect I got that off an episode of Doctor Who though if you search for it it appears on some Chinese Star Trek sites. Wormhole is simple 虫洞 . . .

ha ha, no. I don't have any episodes on DVD. This came up when I was showing them an episode of "That 70s Show" where Eric, upon hearing his girlfriend's wedding dress rip, said "Please tell me that was a Rip in the Space/Time continuum"...

If I showed them an episode of Star Trek I still would need to explain somehow, what that was.

tks

For some reason, this just makes me think of the TV show, "Heroes," and Hiro Nakamura going on about rifts in the space/time continuum in Japanese.

It'd have been tight if Hiro had been Chinese instead.
