Help with chinese pronounciations of Japanese characters

How did you manage to come out with that? If you could provide me with the faintest idea of what it could possibly mean, I would be willing to tell you how it is pronounced in Chinese, Japanese and Esperanto. How about that?

It would be the best to exchange the Japanese fonts with Chinese ones I know, but at the moment the editor that my friend built does not support chinese, only Japanese.. I'll ask him about making a Unicode version.

Thank atitarev for clearing up my misunderstanding. I mistakenly thought that the posted string of characters was intended to be meaningful, and not just a string of characters

hmm, it appears that the program doesn't let you enter numbers.. the computer lets you input without the tone...oh well at least it shows the number so it should let you remember it. I think I will make a new topic to let people know that I have released the program.

Atitarev is wrong about the vessel, pronounced li in Chinese. that character is feng, meaning abundance, abundant, plenty, plentiful. All those other characters are also wrong on the same line as "vessel". Try looking up Toyota, in Chinese. You will see what the Traditional / fanti character is. Just so you know Toyota is Toyo + ta (sometimes pronounced da in Japanese when written individually) Feng tian in Chinese.

Let us please decide if it's a waste of time or not but this topic should have been created in

"Other cultures and language" subforum.

The source of the readings of the characters is ABC. There could be more readings of those characters, no doubt, they are substandard, rarely used and often obsolete characters, anyway. Coresnake needed some readings, that's what I provided.

Now let's compare the traditional character in Toyota with the one I posted:

丰田 / 豐田 Fēngtián Toyota

豊 [lǐ]

They are similar but not the same. The Japanese character is 豊 not used in Chinese.

豊田 is the Japanese spelling of Toyota but normally written as トヨタ in katakana.

Atitarev was only helping as requested; and that doesn't mean that he should first be 100% infallible and his effort was certainly not a waste of time.

豊 in Japanese is indeed supposed to be 豐 (feng1) in Chinese. The mistake is actually due to the ABC Dictionary.
