Quest Posted November 25, 2006 at 07:04 AM Report Posted November 25, 2006 at 07:04 AM Mandarin not as good as his Cantonese, which is quite good. Quote
pazu Posted November 25, 2006 at 11:51 AM Report Posted November 25, 2006 at 11:51 AM My native tongue is Cantonese and I think this guy must be very gifted, sometimes it has nothing to do with the time he studied when it comes to the accent, but his Cantonese is perfect (some words had an accent, but still nearly perfect), I think I won't doubt that he's a Hong Kong native if we talk over phone only, indeed I think he might be born in Hong Kong. Ncao Posted November 27, 2006 at 10:12 PM Report Posted November 27, 2006 at 10:12 PM His Mandarin is sorta HK/Cantonese accented. Quote
sarahkuang Posted November 28, 2006 at 04:17 PM Report Posted November 28, 2006 at 04:17 PM I would say his Cantonese is much better than my uncle's Cantoness, who is Taishanese and lives in Guangzhou for most of his life. His Mandarin just likes those province governors with accent, better than Mao Zedong. Quote
