[POP=Ni hao. (Hello/ Hi)]你好。[/POP][POP=Wo jiao Bu Ai De Hua (I'm called Eddie Blankenship)]我叫布爱德华[/POP],or Edward Blankenship.

I need some help. My school doesn't teach Chinese. I don't have anyone to learn Chinese with me or to at least hold me accountable for my lessons and what I need to know. I have a friend from China, but I don't get to see her often and when I do I'm not sure if she understands me entirely; but she said she would help me. So I'm here to ask these questions...

1. Is anyone in Carroll County, Maryland that could meet with me and help me?

2. Are there any ways I can hold myszelf accountable or get someone who knows NO chinese to help me?

3. Should I purposely seek out this girl and work out a time to get her help?

I know that some of this is a moral issue but I would like someone's input.

I recommend you get the online messenger Skype. (just look for it on a search engine) and then check out www.xlingo.com and you can find many many language partners to help you! You dont even have to leave your home lol. I really recommend this.

good luck
