Hi

Does anyone know of any legitimate sites (by that mean sites that you have to pay!!) out there that specialise in chinese music.

Or do you have to go to itunes to download paid for chinese music.

It seems to be in general though easy to get chinese and indeed western music for free through a lot of chinese sites.

It's legitimate (although record companies will disagree with you) because it only provides links to mp3 downloads. The actual mp3 downloads themselves are coming from completely different sites which aren't legit.

5fad.com is one apparently legitimate download site I happen to know of. I'm not sure how payment works, you'd have to go through the registration process to figure it out. Doubt it would be easy if you are abroad. Or maybe it's advertising-supported and they just make you register so they can spam you.

Legal Chinese music downloads? Wait a few years for the laws to be passed, and then the jungle on baidu, sohu etc is done with, unfortunately for us, tiny litlle thieves.

Hi,

I have an Apple computer, and I would really like to downlaod the music on Baidu, but because I have an Apple computer I can´t find the right download manager, and so far I can listen to the music but I can´t store it on my computer. Could anybody please post a link to a download manager for Apple, or give me some other advise?

Thanks

I just always do a search under mp3 and then click on the 试听 link. The window that pops up will have another link listed there. Right click (ctrl click) and choose save file...

Hi,

I am one step closer, but now I get the message that my mac does not support MIME files, I also tried Opera and one of the below mentioned download managers, but no help. Would be really nice if you could help me out one more time, I am unfortunately not too good with any of these things.

Thank you very much

Err... In what situation did you receive that MIME message? I have no idea about what a MIME is, but I have no problem opening any window-media-player-based video clips online after I installed a software called 'WM components'.
