synth evening in chinese

Hi!

I would like to write the more or less home-made expression "synth evening" in chinese but does not really know how to do it. A "synth evening" is for me an evening when you hook up your synthesizers and play/jam all night.

I first thought about something like 弹合成晚上 but maybe 弹电子琴晚上 is better?

Oh, I am fumbling in the dark.

Can someone give me some hints?

I'd suggest 电琴之夜....

Hm, I run the strings through MDBG (http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php) and babel.altavista.com to compare. I know they don't give the "real" meaning but they give some hints.

Result:

弹电子琴的晚上 ~ "Play electric piano evening"

电琴之夜 ~ "Night of the electrical instrument"

I combined the two propositions into this string: 电子琴之晚上

This translates to "evening of the electric piano" in babel and for me that sounds pretty good. Is this correct chinese

In chinses,"之夜"is more better than "之晚上". We think "之夜" is more beautiful !

I would think that 电子琴之夜 is better. We usually use XX 之夜 on such functions.

I'm gonna have to go with 电琴之夜. It's much more elegant, and will sound better to native speakers almost invariably.

is 琴 musical instruments in general?

If so is the case then I think I will skip the "electrical piano" and go for the 电琴之夜 from Gulao. Short and beautiful.

I like 电琴之夜, which is very beautiful and elegant. though

电子琴之夜 is more accurate.

I think I will go for the "电琴之夜" even though it's not perfectly accurate.
