Meaning: 鑲入式的 ?

What does "鑲入式的" mean, especially in the context of I.T./computing (but any ideas are welcome)?

Examples:

系统前台视图使用JSP开发设计，服务器端程序的开发使用了JDBC技术进行数据库连接，镶入式的Transact-SQL语句进行数据控制。

It is called 嵌入式 in mainland, or "embedded" in English language.
