Is 沖涼 a Cantonese word?

I always thought 沖涼 was Cantonese, until someone said it was also use in Kunming in a thread about the differences between Singapore, Taiwan, and Mainland's Mandarin. So does anyone know if 沖涼 instead 洗澡 is used in other dialects or if it's a Cantonese influence like

拍拖?

I'm in Guangzhou and I use it, I'm not sure it's just not a more appropriate word for having a nice cool shower in summer than 洗澡.

It's also used in Shangainese. Probably difficult to find out who came up with it first.

Then maybe it's 南方話 (southern Chinese). It make sense since the climate in the south is warmer then the north, it's more reasonable for people to say to take a shower then bath.

冲凉 and 洗澡 mean the same in mainland mandarin,洗澡is rarely used in Cantonese but 冲凉,It's most popular to say 冲凉is not only a Cantonese word, but also a mainland mandarin word in oral.
