Mark Yong Posted January 2, 2007 at 08:54 AM Report Posted January 2, 2007 at 08:54 AM I would like to enquire if there are any online radio stations which provide news broadcasts in non-Mandarin dialects. In particular, I am looking for radio stations that provide news broadcasts in the Southern dialects, e.g. Minnan 閩南 and Shanghainese 上海話. I am aware that Malaysia's Radio 5 FM106.7 provides news broadcasts in Cantonese 粵語, Hakka 客家話, Hokkien 福建話 and Teochew 潮州話 (in addition to Mandarin, of course). I am wondering if China or any of the other East Asian countries (e.g. Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines) provide such dialect news broadcasts. If anyone knows of any such online web radio stations, could you please provide me with the URL's? Thank you. Quote
