A place to live in Shanghai

Hi!

Here's a rather naive question; how do I go about getting a place to live for two months i Shanghai? I'll be staying there February and March this spring to practice using the language and to make music, but I know next to no one there atm. Is it something that can only be done whilst there, or is there some sort of site, organization or the like where I can get info and or help?

Craigslist has advertisements for more upmarket sublets, also rooms shared. There are local real estate papers with classifieds you can grab in the city as well. They will save you some money, but you'll need to be able to deal with Chinese.
