redmini Posted January 12, 2007 at 09:43 AM Report Posted January 12, 2007 at 09:43 AM i'm trying to find the right translation for "he is really sensitive", as in not the being-in-touch-with-your-feelings sentiment but the being-easily-offended kinda sentiment. looking up 'sensitive' in the dictionary gives 易受伤的 or 敏感的 neither one of which is what i want to say. (the second phrase means something closer to 'allergic' or something right??) can someone help out? thanks in advance! =) Quote

Yes. But personally I write it as 小器. I guess I am old-fashioned. This is from Xinhua Dictionary -> 小器xiǎoqì (1) 肚量浅窄、偏狭,也作“小气” 孔子鄙其小器。――宋·司马光《训俭示康》 (2) (《论语·八佾》:“管仲之器小哉!”) Quote
