adrianlondon Posted January 17, 2007 at 04:01 PM Report Posted January 17, 2007 at 04:01 PM In the UK I "cut" my own hair. This is rather easy as I simpy give myself a "Number 3" all over with a hair trimmer. However, as there's a place next to BNU East Gate that does haircuts for 10kuai, I simply go there. No massage, though. Quote
Long Zhiren Posted January 17, 2007 at 11:40 PM Report Posted January 17, 2007 at 11:40 PM Here's another Chinese idiomatic expression to be used in your next Chinese conversation about hairstyles... 马桶盖 or 馬桶蓋 It is a style a bit more traditional than "mohawks." I believe that it's also known as the "bowl" cut. Quote
jie2li4 Posted January 18, 2007 at 05:00 AM Author Report Posted January 18, 2007 at 05:00 AM What? "Toilet cover"? XD I don't think I'd want a hairstyle with a name like that, even if were a guy. So is it like, the mushroom-top cut? Quote
