holger Posted January 16, 2007 at 01:19 PM Report Posted January 16, 2007 at 01:19 PM Dajia Hao, I'm searching for digitalized, searchable (txt etc.) versions of older (imperial) chinese encyclopedias. As my chinese language skills are not yet sufficient to search those files on my own in a sensible period of time I'd be highly grateful for any links to collections or sinlge downloadable files. The following works are of particular interest but any other (even thematically specialized) titles would be fine. Thanks in advance! Quote
jak__ Posted January 16, 2007 at 02:12 PM Report Posted January 16, 2007 at 02:12 PM http://guoxue.baidu.com/ is a place I go to a lot for searching texts, or just baidu The other day I was at the Foreign Languages Bookstore on Wangfujing and asked how much their CD set of the Sikuquanshu was (like 15-20 CDs), and the guy didn't know, so he called his supervisor who told him it was 25,000 RMB !!! I just laughed and said no thanks. I think buying the books would be cheaper. Quote
