"bruise" in Chinese?

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering how you would say "bruise" in Chinese, as in "I fell down the stairs, and now I have this huge bruise on my leg." I've looked in a few dictionaries but there seem to be so many different possible translations and I can't tell which one is best.

Right, apart from those listed above by Skylee & me.

I think it's also quite common to hear people say, 青一块,紫一块 (as an adjective) in general speech.
