Xiao Kui Posted January 19, 2007 at 09:14 AM Report Posted January 19, 2007 at 09:14 AM Was wondering if they sell TUMS, Mylanta, or some other tasty chewable equivalent (can even be a Chinese brand) for antacid/heartburn in Chinese pharmacies? If so, what's it called in Chinese? Thanks! Quote
onebir Posted January 19, 2007 at 07:37 PM Report Posted January 19, 2007 at 07:37 PM I think I saw things like that in Watsons. Or you could try just explaining you have hearburn (or whatever) in a normal pharmacy, and see you get... Quote
nitropuppy Posted January 25, 2007 at 07:02 AM Report Posted January 25, 2007 at 07:02 AM Just a helpful hint. If you have trouble with heartburn or an acid stomach, the papaya is a natural anti-acid. Even those dried papaya pieces can ease your pain. If the problem persists, your entire body is probably too acidic. Get away from tomatoe sauces and cola's. Bump up your intake of calcium. Of course, I'm not a Doctor and I don't play one on TV.
