Chinese-English Dictionary

Does any one here knows a good Chinese-English Dictionary on the net, I have several normal Dictionaries, one on the computer, an electronic one, but still I can not find the meaning of certain words and no Chinese person seems to be able to give me a good explanation

Just tried out the two dictionaries mentioned by skylee and discovered one weekness common to both of them:

http://cdict.giga.net.tw/ doesn't understand simplified characters.

http://sh.dict.cn/en/search/ doesn't understand traditional characters.

It's regrettable, but maybe this is the reason we need both?

i use mdbg.net for general look-up and translation.

and xiaoma cidian for looking up every possible compound a single character is found in.

I use the Baidu dictionary a lot. Zhongwen.com doesn't have many translations, but is fantastic for finding characters.

When I need to find obscure characters I go to wiktionary.org or www.zdic.net.
