Doggiedoggiedog Posted January 24, 2007 at 09:40 PM Report Posted January 24, 2007 at 09:40 PM In Beijing there is often a mainroad, and next to it there is a sideroad. Does anyone know how to refer to these roads? In the taxicab a driver told me: 1) mainroad = zhu3lu4, which I think is 主路 2) sideroad = fu3lu4, but I don't know which characters (except that lu4 = 路) Does anyone know the characters for mainroad, sideroad? dougm24 Posted January 25, 2007 at 04:41 AM Report Posted January 25, 2007 at 04:41 AM Main road is 主路, then side road is 辅路 - the side road sign is all along the ring roads here (I spend too much time sitting in buses or taxis!) Quote
