ruidianren2 Posted January 30, 2007 at 10:36 AM Report Posted January 30, 2007 at 10:36 AM Hi all I dont know allot about chinese music, but I know that to listen to music is a great way of learning a language in a pleasant way. I was wondering if someone could recommend a few artists or melodies. First, let me start of by saying that I hate all this new "wannabe britney spears etc" pop music, so most of all modern music and 90% of what's on mtv goes down the drain. I like powerfull, sad, majestic and proud music. Music that has that kind of really powerfull fealing to it. Almost a bit like the music you often can hear in war movies, but with lyrics. I like songs that sounds like: 《霸王别姬》by 屠洪刚. 《中国人》by刘德华 《男儿当自强》 by ...I dont know who sings this one in mandarin. Although is also like sad, kind old sounding songs, for example: 《橄榄树》 (not the pop version, but the older one) 《兰花草》 (not the pop version....) Does anyone have any recommendations for songs that sounds like this ? Or even better, if someone knows a band or a artist that only plays this kind of music. Thanks in advance !!!! Quote
elina Posted January 30, 2007 at 12:21 PM Report Posted January 30, 2007 at 12:21 PM If you like this song: 《男儿当自强》, you might like: “真心英雄” and “壮志在我胸” sung by 成龙(Chan, Jackie) http://www1.haoting.com/play/haotingsonglian.asp?id=1255&id=1258&B1.x=17&B1.y=11 Sad songs? Try these: “明天你是否依然爱我”,“忘不了” sung by 童安格(Tung, An Ko Angus) http://www1.haoting.com/play/haotingsonglian.asp?id=9634&id=9637&B1.x=35&B1.y=10 I think these 2 songs are not only sad, but 优美的 / beautiful.
