I just discovered Leehom Wang the other day. Good stuff! That's the most legit hip-hop/r&b I've ever heard coming out of East Asia!

I'm wondering if there are any other pop hip-hop/r&b artists who perform in Mandarin. From what I understand Jin the MC's new album is in Cantonese...

I seriously need to vary my study methods and good music is a great place to start.

who / what is "Jin the MC"?

Jin is one of the best freestyle rappers ever! I would love to see him battle Eminem. A few years ago, he was placed into the BET 106 & Park hall of fame because he did seven rounds of freestyling undefeated. Check out my favorite round here.

He got signed with Ruff Ryders (DMX, Eve) and put out one English album before things went sour. His new independent album drops later this month. You can watch the video on MTVChi.

On second thought, somebody watch the video and tell me if it really is Cantonese. I'm not positive but I figured it is because I didn't understand a single word but I could be wrong!
