semantic nuance Posted February 6, 2007 at 08:14 AM Report Posted February 6, 2007 at 08:14 AM Hi, I'd like to post a beautiful Taiwanese song- 下午的一齣戲 by 陳明章. I remember the first time when I listened to it at a teahouse I was totally moved. It was long long time ago. It seemed that I had seen a motion picture running on in the lyrics. The song describes a scenario of Taiwanese opera performed without audiences in some rainy afternoon. Taiwanese opera is usually performed outdoors for worshiping gods, or celebrating festivals. The following lyrics are Taiwanese and I'll translate into Mandarin for you guys to understand. Hope you enjoy it.

But they seem both sad, then I turned to some other 活泼的 songs. Quote
