ZDT: export of categories into Excel

I am sorry I have done the search and did not find the answer to may be obivous thing, how to export categories/word lists into Excel?

I would like to send my word list to my teacher who doesn't use ZDT but wants to know what words I am learning...

There is no explicit export to Excel, but the easiest way is to select all the entries in a particular category, select Copy (ctrl-c) and then Paste (ctrl-v) into your Excel spreadsheet. On a side note, you can do the reverse and input lists in Excel and then using copy and paste to add them to the ZDT.

thanks! i tried exactly this but i can only copy the first word (in chinese) of the first line, it does not copy the whole selected list.

but as there is no explicit copy to Excel function I'll have find another way to share my word list with my teacher... not involving ZDT. No problem!

You should be able to copy everything. I just tried it myself. Select the first entry in the category and press shift-down arrow to select multiple rows. And make sure you do 'Copy' and not 'Copy characters'.
