Most difficult character?

I think it is 龜 (gui1), the traditional character for turtle. I have seen four different versions of this character, which makes it even more difficult.

What do you think is the most difficult character?

the 鬱, just horrible , and all those rare multiple 馬s, 龍s, rare and scary.....

yea i think yu4 is the hardest one i've ever seen. It's very hard to fit it on a small line if you write fan ti zi, almost the perfect example of a good reason to simplify some characters.

Of the characters I've learned so far and have actually had to use pretty often, I think the most difficult one is 餐 (can1), the character for food. It isn't difficult to remember, it's just impossible for me to write it in a satisfactory way. Theres just way too much stuff on the top! It never turns out looking quite like it should, always sort of unbalanced.

A different kind of opinion than the rest... Maybe it's just because I've only studied Chinese for three years and don't really master the writing yet, but that was the first aspect of a character's "difficultness" that came to my mind.

I always found it a little difficult to write 每 and get the proportions to look right.
