I assume most people in Beijing are getting these? In the last few days I've had two unwanted SMS messages from the 首都文明委, one instructing me to enjoy Queuing Day on the 11th, and one today to welcome my participation in Meaningless Slogan Activity. Very annoying. I might start queue jumping in revenge.

I hear everybody talking about them, but I didn't receive either. I must say, I am feeling a bit left out.

What I did get, though, was an SMS by e-long - maybe the 文明委 has given up on me and is trying to find the best way to get me out of the city.

I've seen news reports claiming they sent 18 million of the Queuing Day ones. Crazy.
