xtenhome Posted February 16, 2007 at 12:16 AM Report Posted February 16, 2007 at 12:16 AM hi, I wonder what agent people are using to do their chinese visa from the chinese embassy in san francisco ? Also does anyone know cheap flights from san francisco to china ? Quote
Xiao Kui Posted February 16, 2007 at 01:52 AM Report Posted February 16, 2007 at 01:52 AM if possible and convenient with re to time and location you might want to go to the Chinese embassy/consulate yourself. When I was in NYC I went myself and saved myself abt $60 for not having to pay the travel agent fee or the postage. Also if you go the recommended times there's virtually no lines to wait on. They had regular service (4 business days) and express as well. As far as flights go - check out this site http://www.uschinatrip.com/ Last time I flew from NYC to Kunming I got the same prices from them as a travel agent friend of mine found with a consolidator. Even if you don't end up using it it could be a good place to start for comparing prices. Quote

Xiao Kui Posted February 18, 2007 at 01:45 PM Report Posted February 18, 2007 at 01:45 PM these people can get you a visa http://www.traveldocs.com/cn/ http://www.uschinatrip.com/visa.cfm I think any travel agent can help you send away for it, but I'm not sure. As far as getting approved for a China tourist visa, I think it's pretty easy. Quote
