roddy Posted February 22, 2007 at 04:20 AM Report Posted February 22, 2007 at 04:20 AM Does anyone know if it's possible to get hold of radio broadcast schedules for all Beijing's FM radio stations in one place? Something along the lines of what you would find in the Radio Times in the UK? I've taken to having the radio on in the background while (ahem) working, but it would be handy to actually know what's on where and when rather than just scanning through stations on the off-chance of finding something worth listening to. It's easy enough to find schedules on the individual stations on their own websites - see here and here and you'll have most of them. However, they're arranged by channels rather than by time, so you need to look through all of them to see what's on now or in the immediate future. I'm wondering if there's something arranged by time so you can click Friday, find the 12pm column and scan down to find something you want to listen to. Even a magazine? I have searched (even in Chinese ) but failed. Incidentally, if any Beijing residents want to create the atmosphere of a Beijing taxi in their living rooms, tune to FM103.9 for crosstalk, traffic information, and desperate pleas for lost laptops, cash and ID cards. Or click taxi.mp3 Quote
RayCard Posted February 26, 2007 at 01:19 AM Report Posted February 26, 2007 at 01:19 AM Well, i think you'd get through a tough time finding such schedules. It is easier for me for i 've already find a couple of stations that i could spend some nice hours just enjoy their programme. I love some music when i'm reading , sitting on the bus or just mind-wandering , FM88.7(hitfm) is my first pick siince my college time. you could hear all nice music in this channel , 100 percent music station, (except some ads, most of them about bars and night clubs , their used to be few but now the situation is kind of getting worse , guess they have to make that money ) . also cool DJs :Barry Jimes, corry cox (these two are no longer here now ,what a shame), LQ, GP, MikeD, love them.here is the webpage if you want know more :www.hitfm.cn. FM 105( China radio international ) is also a great one , not only music programme they make but also language learning progrmme , and some other nice stuff, might want to give it a try, here is the wbsite: www.cri.cn.
