flameproof Posted March 5, 2007 at 02:09 AM Report Posted March 5, 2007 at 02:09 AM A word of caution: often the subtitle is only vaguely close to the spoken script. Or even worst, I have a few DVDs were the subtitle is from a different movie and doesn't match at all. This could lead to the "Monthy Python Hungarian Phrasebook" situation... Remember it? "My nipples explode with delight." "My hovercraft is full of eels." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_ve37gVwxw Quote
roddy Posted March 5, 2007 at 02:23 AM Report Posted March 5, 2007 at 02:23 AM I'll allow links to stuff with Chinese subtitles as being tenuously linked to learning Chinese. No links to general download sites please. And that said - the subtitles done by small groups of enthusiasts and then released on the web are generally very good indeed. Browse verycd.com - there's a huge amount of stuff out there. Quote
