Pravit Posted March 9, 2007 at 06:33 PM Report Posted March 9, 2007 at 06:33 PM I kind of enjoy reading the selections in the HSK reading section - decently interesting short to medium length articles on a variety of topics. I'm assuming they write everything in the HSK themselves, but perhaps this is similar reading material online(for native speakers) I could read every day? I read articles on Baidu news sometimes, but find most of them incredibly boring. Quote
gato Posted March 10, 2007 at 02:22 AM Report Posted March 10, 2007 at 02:22 AM "General interest" is kind of general, but you might find 三联生活周刊 (Life Week) interesting. It's a bit like Time magazine. http://www.lifeweek.com.cn/ There's also 南方周末 (Southern Weekend), which aims at a somewhat more intellectual set. http://www.nanfangdaily.com.cn/zm/20070308/ Quote
Pravit Posted March 10, 2007 at 03:56 AM Author Report Posted March 10, 2007 at 03:56 AM Exactly the type of thing I was looking for. Thanks, gato! Anyone know of any other such sites? Is there something similar to "Reader's Digest" in China? Quote
