david3249 Posted March 11, 2007 at 07:42 AM Report Share Posted March 11, 2007 at 07:42 AM Hi, I just downloaded your program, and it looks great!!! I have literally hundreds of flashcards made with defnitions included. However, I cannot seem to import them into zdt. The format for my flashcards is quite simple. It is in a text file (utf-8 format) with the following pattern: Is there a way for me to import text files with this type of formate into zdt? If not, can this feature to added to a new release of the program? The program you have right now has tremendous potential! Excellent work! And thank you for your help in advance. bogleg Posted March 11, 2007 at 09:28 AM Report Share Posted March 11, 2007 at 09:28 AM Hi, Have you tried just using copy and paste instead of import? Try one line first, and then try multiple lines. Otherwise, if that doesn't work, there is a new Custom Import wizard coming for the next version. You can check out my blog entry about it. Also, if you could send me your list to fongcn at gmail.com, I can make sure it works with the new wizard. I can always use more testcases. Thanks Chris
david3249 Posted March 12, 2007 at 07:22 AM Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 at 07:22 AM Hi Chris, Thank you for the reply. I tried your copy and paste and realized why it did not work the first time. I tried to copy and paste my bopomofo flashcard list the first time and it did not work. The second time I tried copy and pasting my regular flashcards and it appeared to work fine, with one exception. I explain in more detail in my email. I will email a sample copy of the bopomofo flashcard list and a sample of the regular flashcard list to you now, hopefully it can be implemented in the next version. Thank you for your help!
