Hi I'm a rookie on this forum.

I was looking up simple verbs, but there are sooo many choices and I don't know which one to pick. I would be grateful if you could give me the answer in Chinese fonts and I'll look up the Pinyin.

Pinch (for "don't pinch someone's arm/nose")

Lean back (when sitting in a chair)

Rub (for "don't rub your eyes")

Dig (for "don't dig booger/your nose")

Scoop (for "don't scoop water out of the bucket")

Tickle (for "I'm gonna tickle you")

Thanks a million!!!

Pinch (for "don't pinch someone's arm/nose") 捏鼻子,拧鼻子

Lean back (when sitting in a chair) 靠依椅背

Rub (for "don't rub your eyes") 揉眼睛

Dig (for "don't dig booger/your nose") 抠鼻子 挖耳朵

Scoop (for "don't scoop water out of the bucket") 舀水, 捧水 (depending on what you are using to scoop, right?)

Tickle (for "I'm gonna tickle you") 痒痒,闹痒

I just like to guess on these when I see these types of questions to test myself, but it doesn't mean what I have is correct, lets see what the native speakers say:mrgreen:

Gee, I'm sooo off except for Dig. Thanks for your reply. Let's wait for native speakers to help me out. ^_^

The following is my guess:

Pinch (for "don't pinch someone's arm/nose") 不要擰鼻子

Lean back (when sitting in a chair) 请倚椅 I'm trying to say "please lean back."

Rub (for "don't rub your eyes") 不要擦眼睛

Dig (for "don't dig booger/your nose")不要挖鼻子

Scoop (for "don't scoop water out of the bucket with hands") 不要剜水

Tickle (for "I'm gonna tickle you") 要胳肢你...

Thanks for your reply. Let's wait for native speakers to help me out. ^_^

Consider 请躺下

Otherwise fine.

Thank you for replying...

But I am still quite not sure about "scoop water with hands," and "lean back" (against a chair). Can't any native speaker kindly advice on this? Thank you, thank you.

Hey, guys.

I am a native speaker. In Chinese, we would like to say "请靠着坐“ or "请靠着靠背”, which means "Please lean back".
