doumeizhen Posted March 20, 2007 at 11:49 PM Report Posted March 20, 2007 at 11:49 PM Randall-- I am not saying you should do this, but sometimes, on some websites with mp3s, you can right click on the link and select 'save link location as', and then (I assume it goes through a process whereby a legal forms are signed and all dues paid) it shows up on your computer. As for recommendations, you should check out Machi. Quote

poleag Posted May 18, 2012 at 03:40 PM Report Posted May 18, 2012 at 03:40 PM These two are by an artist called 蛋堡 aka Soft Lipa 雨没停过 遇见 Quote
poleag Posted May 18, 2012 at 04:31 PM Report Posted May 18, 2012 at 04:31 PM 雨没停过 遇见 Sorry for not explaining it. There are two great things about Soft Ripa. 1) He raps in very comprehensible, 99% putonghua, unlike Jay Chou/JIn or other artists who use a lot of English or other Chinese dialects. 2) Most of his tracks have a laid back, jazzy sound Starting with Wikipedia and looking up music by the artists listed under Chinese Hip Hop had me sifting through a lot of awful stuff. Searching Chinese-forums came up with a lot of threads where people who aren't really into hip-hop tried to be helpful by posting links to "famous" hip-hop that they had just Googled (or Baidu'd) a few minutes beforehand (that or really general links/people trying to promote stuff). So the point of the thread was really just to say "1) I'm a hip hop fan and a Chinese student, 2) I've listened to these two specific tracks, and 3) I think they are worth listening to. Quote
